يَوْمَ تَرَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ يَسْعَىٰ نُورُهُم بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَـٰنِهِم بُشْرَٮٰكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ جَنَّـٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ ذَٲلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ 12
يَوْمَ يَقُولُ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَ وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتُ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱنظُرُونَا نَقْتَبِسْ مِن نُّورِكُمْ قِيلَ ٱرْجِعُواْ وَرَآءَكُمْ فَٱلْتَمِسُواْ نُورًا فَضُرِبَ بَيْنَهُم بِسُورٍ لَّهُۥ بَابُۢ بَاطِنُهُۥ فِيهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةُ وَظَـٰهِرُهُۥ مِن قِبَلِهِ ٱلْعَذَابُ 13
يُنَادُونَهُمْ أَلَمْ نَكُن مَّعَكُمْۖ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ وَلَـٰكِنَّكُمْ فَتَنتُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ وَٱرْتَبْتُمْ وَغَرَّتْكُمُ ٱلْأَمَانِىُّ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ وَغَرَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ 14
فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنكُمْ فِدْيَةٌ وَلَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۚ مَأْوَٮٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُۖ هِىَ مَوْلَـٰكُمْۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ 15
۞ أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْۖ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَـٰسِقُونَ 16
ٱعْلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحْىِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَاۚ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ ٱلْأَيَـٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ 17
إِنَّ ٱلْمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَٱلْمُصَّدِّقَـٰتِ وَأَقْرَضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَـٰعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ كَرِيمٌ 18
يَوْمَyawma(On the) Dayتَرَىtarāyou will seeٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَl-mu'minīnathe believing menوَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِwal-mu'minātiand the believing womenيَسْعَىٰyasʿārunningنُورُهُمnūruhumtheir lightبَيْنَbaynabefore themأَيْدِيهِمْaydīhimbefore themوَبِأَيْمَـٰنِهِمwabi-aymānihimand on their rightبُشْرَىٰكُمُbush'rākumuGlad tidings for youٱلْيَوْمَl-yawmathis Day جَنَّـٰتٌۭjannātungardensتَجْرِىtajrīflowingمِنminfromتَحْتِهَاtaḥtihāunderneath itٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُl-anhāruthe riversخَـٰلِدِينَkhālidīnaabiding foreverفِيهَا ۚfīhāthereinذَٰلِكَdhālikaThatهُوَhuwa[it] (is)ٱلْفَوْزُl-fawzuthe successٱلْعَظِيمُl-ʿaẓīmuthe great
57:12
يَوْمَyawma(On the) Dayيَقُولُyaqūluwill sayٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَl-munāfiqūnathe hypocrite menوَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتُwal-munāfiqātuand the hypocrite womenلِلَّذِينَlilladhīnato those whoءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelievedٱنظُرُونَاunẓurūnāWait for usنَقْتَبِسْnaqtabiswe may acquireمِنminofنُّورِكُمْnūrikumyour lightقِيلَqīlaIt will be saidٱرْجِعُوا۟ir'jiʿūGo backوَرَآءَكُمْwarāakumbehind youفَٱلْتَمِسُوا۟fal-tamisūand seekنُورًۭاnūranlightفَضُرِبَfaḍuribaThen will be put upبَيْنَهُمbaynahumbetween themبِسُورٍۢbisūrina wallلَّهُۥlahufor itبَابٌۢbābuna gateبَاطِنُهُۥbāṭinuhuits interiorفِيهِfīhiin itٱلرَّحْمَةُl-raḥmatu(is) mercyوَظَـٰهِرُهُۥwaẓāhiruhubut its exteriorمِنminfacing towards [it]قِبَلِهِqibalihifacing towards [it]ٱلْعَذَابُl-ʿadhābuthe punishment
57:13
يُنَادُونَهُمْyunādūnahumThey will call themأَلَمْalamWere notنَكُنnakunweمَّعَكُمْ ۖmaʿakumwith youقَالُوا۟qālūThey will sayبَلَىٰbalāYesوَلَـٰكِنَّكُمْwalākinnakumbut youفَتَنتُمْfatantumled to temptationأَنفُسَكُمْanfusakumyourselvesوَتَرَبَّصْتُمْwatarabbaṣtumand you awaitedوَٱرْتَبْتُمْwa-ir'tabtumand you doubtedوَغَرَّتْكُمُwagharratkumuand deceived youٱلْأَمَانِىُّl-amāniyuthe wishful thinkingحَتَّىٰḥattāuntilجَآءَjāacameأَمْرُamru(the) Commandٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) AllahوَغَرَّكُمwagharrakumAnd deceived youبِٱللَّهِbil-lahiabout Allahٱلْغَرُورُl-gharūruthe deceiver
57:14
فَٱلْيَوْمَfal-yawmaSo todayلَاlānotيُؤْخَذُyu'khadhuwill be acceptedمِنكُمْminkumfrom youفِدْيَةٌۭfid'yatunany ransomوَلَاwalāand notمِنَminafromٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoكَفَرُوا۟ ۚkafarūdisbelievedمَأْوَىٰكُمُmawākumuYour abodeٱلنَّارُ ۖl-nāru(is) the Fireهِىَhiyait (is)مَوْلَىٰكُمْ ۖmawlākumyour protectorوَبِئْسَwabi'saand wretched isٱلْمَصِيرُl-maṣīruthe destination
57:15
۞ أَلَمْalamHas notيَأْنِyanicome (the) timeلِلَّذِينَlilladhīnafor those whoءَامَنُوٓا۟āmanūbelievedأَنanthatتَخْشَعَtakhshaʿabecome humbleقُلُوبُهُمْqulūbuhumtheir heartsلِذِكْرِlidhik'riat (the) remembrance (of) Allahٱللَّهِl-lahiat (the) remembrance (of) Allahوَمَاwamāand whatنَزَلَnazalahas come downمِنَminaofٱلْحَقِّl-ḥaqithe truthوَلَاwalāAnd notيَكُونُوا۟yakūnūthey becomeكَٱلَّذِينَka-alladhīnalike those whoأُوتُوا۟ūtūwere givenٱلْكِتَـٰبَl-kitābathe Bookمِنminbeforeقَبْلُqablubeforeفَطَالَfaṭāla(and) was prolongedعَلَيْهِمُʿalayhimufor themٱلْأَمَدُl-amaduthe termفَقَسَتْfaqasatso hardenedقُلُوبُهُمْ ۖqulūbuhumtheir heartsوَكَثِيرٌۭwakathīrunand manyمِّنْهُمْmin'humof themفَـٰسِقُونَfāsiqūna(are) defiantly disobedient
57:16
ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟iʿ'lamūKnowأَنَّannathatٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahيُحْىِyuḥ'yīgives lifeٱلْأَرْضَl-arḍa(to) the earthبَعْدَbaʿdaafterمَوْتِهَا ۚmawtihāits deathقَدْqadIndeedبَيَّنَّاbayyannāWe have made clearلَكُمُlakumuto youٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِl-āyātithe Signsلَعَلَّكُمْlaʿallakumso that you mayتَعْقِلُونَtaʿqilūnaunderstand
57:17
إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلْمُصَّدِّقِينَl-muṣadiqīnathe men who give charityوَٱلْمُصَّدِّقَـٰتِwal-muṣadiqātiand the women who give charityوَأَقْرَضُوا۟wa-aqraḍūand who lendٱللَّهَl-laha(to) Allahقَرْضًاqarḍana loanحَسَنًۭاḥasanangoodlyيُضَـٰعَفُyuḍāʿafuit will be multipliedلَهُمْlahumfor themوَلَهُمْwalahumand for themأَجْرٌۭajrun(is) a rewardكَرِيمٌۭkarīmunnoble
57:18
