وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَيِّـَٔـاتُ مَا عَمِلُواْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ 33
وَقِيلَ ٱلْيَوْمَ نَنسَـٰكُمْ كَمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَـٰذَا وَمَأْوَٮٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِينَ 34
ذَٲلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ ٱتَّخَذْتُمْ ءَايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتْكُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٲةُ ٱلدُّنْيَاۚ فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ 35
فَلِلَّهِ ٱلْحَمْدُ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَرَبِّ ٱلْأَرْضِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 36
وَلَهُ ٱلْكِبْرِيَآءُ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ 37
الأحقاف
Al-Ahqaf · Surah 46
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
حمٓ 1
تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ 2
مَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّىۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ عَمَّآ أُنذِرُواْ مُعْرِضُونَ 3
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُم مَّا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَرُونِى مَاذَا خَلَقُواْ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِۖ ٱئْتُونِى بِكِتَـٰبٍ مِّن قَبْلِ هَـٰذَآ أَوْ أَثَـٰرَةٍ مِّنْ عِلْمٍ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ 4
وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّن يَدْعُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَن لَّا يَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُۥٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ وَهُمْ عَن دُعَآئِهِمْ غَـٰفِلُونَ 5
وَبَدَاwabadāAnd (will) appearلَهُمْlahumto themسَيِّـَٔاتُsayyiātu(the) evilمَاmā(of) whatعَمِلُوا۟ʿamilūthey didوَحَاقَwaḥāqaand (will) envelopبِهِمbihimthemمَّاmāwhatكَانُوا۟kānūthey usedبِهِۦbihi[at it]يَسْتَهْزِءُونَyastahziūna(to) mock
45:33
وَقِيلَwaqīlaAnd it will be saidٱلْيَوْمَl-yawmaTodayنَنسَىٰكُمْnansākumWe forget youكَمَاkamāasنَسِيتُمْnasītumyou forgotلِقَآءَliqāa(the) meetingيَوْمِكُمْyawmikum(of) this Day of yoursهَـٰذَاhādhā(of) this Day of yoursوَمَأْوَىٰكُمُwamawākumuand your abodeٱلنَّارُl-nāru(is) the Fireوَمَاwamāand notلَكُمlakumfor youمِّنminanyنَّـٰصِرِينَnāṣirīnahelpers
45:34
ذَٰلِكُمdhālikumThatبِأَنَّكُمُbi-annakumu(is) because youٱتَّخَذْتُمْittakhadhtumtookءَايَـٰتِāyāti(the) Versesٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahهُزُوًۭاhuzuwan(in) ridiculeوَغَرَّتْكُمُwagharratkumuand deceived youٱلْحَيَوٰةُl-ḥayatuthe lifeٱلدُّنْيَا ۚl-dun'yā(of) the worldفَٱلْيَوْمَfal-yawmaSo this Dayلَاlānotيُخْرَجُونَyukh'rajūnathey will be brought forthمِنْهَاmin'hāfrom itوَلَاwalāand notهُمْhumtheyيُسْتَعْتَبُونَyus'taʿtabūnawill be asked to appease
45:35
فَلِلَّهِfalillahiThen for Allahٱلْحَمْدُl-ḥamdu(is) all the praiseرَبِّrabbi(the) Lordٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwāti(of) the heavensوَرَبِّwarabbiand (the) Lordٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍi(of) the earthرَبِّrabbi(the) lordٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَl-ʿālamīna(of) the worlds
45:36
وَلَهُwalahuAnd for Himٱلْكِبْرِيَآءُl-kib'riyāu(is) the greatnessفِىfīinٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwātithe heavensوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖwal-arḍiand the earthوَهُوَwahuwaand Heٱلْعَزِيزُl-ʿazīzu(is) the All-Mightyٱلْحَكِيمُl-ḥakīmuthe All-Wise
45:37
حمٓhha-meemHa Meem
46:1
تَنزِيلُtanzīlu(The) revelationٱلْكِتَـٰبِl-kitābi(of) the Bookمِنَmina(is) fromٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahٱلْعَزِيزِl-ʿazīzithe All-Mightyٱلْحَكِيمِl-ḥakīmithe All-Wise
46:2
مَاmāNotخَلَقْنَاkhalaqnāWe createdٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwātithe heavensوَٱلْأَرْضَwal-arḍaand the earthوَمَاwamāand whatبَيْنَهُمَآbaynahumā(is) between both of themإِلَّاillāexceptبِٱلْحَقِّbil-ḥaqiin truthوَأَجَلٍۢwa-ajalinand (for) a termمُّسَمًّۭى ۚmusammanappointedوَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhīnaBut those whoكَفَرُوا۟kafarūdisbelieveعَمَّآʿammāfrom whatأُنذِرُوا۟undhirūthey are warnedمُعْرِضُونَmuʿ'riḍūna(are) turning away
46:3
قُلْqulSayأَرَءَيْتُمara-aytumDo you seeمَّاmāwhatتَدْعُونَtadʿūnayou callمِنminbesidesدُونِdūnibesidesٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahأَرُونِىarūnīShow meمَاذَاmādhāwhatخَلَقُوا۟khalaqūthey have createdمِنَminaofٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earthأَمْamorلَهُمْlahumfor themشِرْكٌۭshir'kun(is) any shareفِىfīinٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ ۖl-samāwātithe heavensٱئْتُونِىi'tūnīBring meبِكِتَـٰبٍۢbikitābina bookمِّنminfromقَبْلِqablibeforeهَـٰذَآhādhāthisأَوْaworأَثَـٰرَةٍۢathāratina traceمِّنْminofعِلْمٍʿil'minknowledgeإِنinifكُنتُمْkuntumyou areصَـٰدِقِينَṣādiqīnatruthful
46:4
وَمَنْwamanAnd whoأَضَلُّaḍallu(is) more astrayمِمَّنmimmanthan (he) whoيَدْعُوا۟yadʿūcallsمِنminbesidesدُونِdūnibesidesٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahمَنmanwhoلَّاlāwill not respondيَسْتَجِيبُyastajībuwill not respondلَهُۥٓlahuto himإِلَىٰilāuntilيَوْمِyawmi(the) Dayٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِl-qiyāmati(of) Resurrectionوَهُمْwahumand theyعَنʿanofدُعَآئِهِمْduʿāihimtheir callsغَـٰفِلُونَghāfilūna(are) unaware
46:5
