Narrators and book-authors grouped by historical region — the classical amṣār — with a modern-country hint. Each attribution is read straight off the source البلدان/nisba, never guessed. 31383 of 49845 narrators carry a placeable origin (210 authors); 18462 have a tribal-only nisba or none, and stay unplaced by design.
