Al-Anfaal · Surah 8
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
يَسْــَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلْأَنفَالِۖ قُلِ ٱلْأَنفَالُ لِلَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِۖ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَصْلِحُواْ ذَاتَ بَيْنِكُمْۖ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ 1
إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَـٰتُهُۥ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَـٰنًا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ 2
ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٲةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ 3
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّاۚ لَّهُمْ دَرَجَـٰتٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ 4
كَمَآ أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنۢ بَيْتِكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَكَـٰرِهُونَ 5
يُجَـٰدِلُونَكَ فِى ٱلْحَقِّ بَعْدَ مَا تَبَيَّنَ كَأَنَّمَا يُسَاقُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَوْتِ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ 6
وَإِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ إِحْدَى ٱلطَّآئِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ ٱلشَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ ٱلْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ 7
لِيُحِقَّ ٱلْحَقَّ وَيُبْطِلَ ٱلْبَـٰطِلَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ 8
يَسْـَٔلُونَكَyasalūnakaThey ask youعَنِʿaniaboutٱلْأَنفَالِ ۖl-anfālithe spoils of warقُلِquliSayٱلْأَنفَالُl-anfāluThe spoils of warلِلَّهِlillahi(are) for Allahوَٱلرَّسُولِ ۖwal-rasūliand the Messengerفَٱتَّقُوا۟fa-ittaqūSo fearٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahوَأَصْلِحُوا۟wa-aṣliḥūand set rightذَاتَdhātathatبَيْنِكُمْ ۖbaynikum(which is) between youوَأَطِيعُوا۟wa-aṭīʿūand obeyٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahوَرَسُولَهُۥٓwarasūlahuand His Messengerإِنinifكُنتُمkuntumyou areمُّؤْمِنِينَmu'minīnabelievers
8:1
إِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَl-mu'minūnathe believersٱلَّذِينَalladhīna(are) those whoإِذَاidhāwhenذُكِرَdhukirais mentionedٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahوَجِلَتْwajilatfeel fearقُلُوبُهُمْqulūbuhumtheir heartsوَإِذَاwa-idhāand whenتُلِيَتْtuliyatare recitedعَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimto themءَايَـٰتُهُۥāyātuhuHis Versesزَادَتْهُمْzādathumthey increase themإِيمَـٰنًۭاīmānan(in) faithوَعَلَىٰwaʿalāand uponرَبِّهِمْrabbihimtheir Lordيَتَوَكَّلُونَyatawakkalūnathey put their trust
8:2
ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnaThose whoيُقِيمُونَyuqīmūnaestablishٱلصَّلَوٰةَl-ṣalatathe prayerوَمِمَّاwamimmāand out of whatرَزَقْنَـٰهُمْrazaqnāhumWe have provided themيُنفِقُونَyunfiqūnathey spend
8:3
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَulāikaThose هُمُhumuthey areٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَl-mu'minūnathe believersحَقًّۭا ۚḥaqqan(in) truthلَّهُمْlahumFor themدَرَجَـٰتٌdarajātun(are) ranksعِندَʿindawithرَبِّهِمْrabbihimtheir Lordوَمَغْفِرَةٌۭwamaghfiratunand forgivenessوَرِزْقٌۭwariz'qunand a provisionكَرِيمٌۭkarīmunnoble
8:4
كَمَآkamāAsأَخْرَجَكَakhrajakabrought you outرَبُّكَrabbukayour Lordمِنۢminfromبَيْتِكَbaytikayour homeبِٱلْحَقِّbil-ḥaqiin truthوَإِنَّwa-innawhile indeedفَرِيقًۭاfarīqana partyمِّنَminaamongٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَl-mu'minīnathe believersلَكَـٰرِهُونَlakārihūnacertainly disliked
8:5
يُجَـٰدِلُونَكَyujādilūnakaThey dispute with youفِىfīconcerningٱلْحَقِّl-ḥaqithe truthبَعْدَ مَاbaʿdamāafter whatتَبَيَّنَtabayyanawas made clearكَأَنَّمَاka-annamāas ifيُسَاقُونَyusāqūnathey were drivenإِلَىilātoٱلْمَوْتِl-mawti[the] deathوَهُمْwahumwhile theyيَنظُرُونَyanẓurūna(were) looking
8:6
وَإِذْwa-idhAnd whenيَعِدُكُمُyaʿidukumupromised youٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahإِحْدَىiḥ'dāoneٱلطَّآئِفَتَيْنِl-ṭāifatayni(of) the two groups أَنَّهَاannahāthat it (would be)لَكُمْlakumfor you وَتَوَدُّونَwatawaddūnaand you wishedأَنَّannathatغَيْرَghayra(one) other thanذَاتِdhātithatٱلشَّوْكَةِl-shawkati(of) the armedتَكُونُtakūnuwould beلَكُمْlakumfor youوَيُرِيدُwayurīduBut intendedٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahأَنantoيُحِقَّyuḥiqqajustifyٱلْحَقَّl-ḥaqathe truthبِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦbikalimātihiby His wordsوَيَقْطَعَwayaqṭaʿaand cut offدَابِرَdābira(the) rootsٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَl-kāfirīna(of) the disbelievers
8:7
لِيُحِقَّliyuḥiqqaThat He might justifyٱلْحَقَّl-ḥaqathe truthوَيُبْطِلَwayub'ṭilaand prove falseٱلْبَـٰطِلَl-bāṭilathe falsehoodوَلَوْwalaweven ifكَرِهَkarihadisliked (it)ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَl-muj'rimūnathe criminals
