وَإِذَآ أَذَقْنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحْمَةً مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتْهُمْ إِذَا لَهُم مَّكْرٌ فِىٓ ءَايَاتِنَاۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ أَسْرَعُ مَكْرًاۚ إِنَّ رُسُلَنَا يَكْتُبُونَ مَا تَمْكُرُونَ 21
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِى ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا كُنتُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِم بِرِيحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَفَرِحُواْ بِهَا جَآءَتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْۙ دَعَوُاْ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَـٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ 22
فَلَمَّآ أَنجَـٰهُمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَبْغُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّۗ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّمَا بَغْيُكُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِكُمۖ مَّتَـٰعَ ٱلْحَيَوٲةِ ٱلدُّنْيَاۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 23
إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ ٱلْحَيَوٲةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا كَمَآءٍ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَٱخْتَلَطَ بِهِۦ نَبَاتُ ٱلْأَرْضِ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمُ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَخَذَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَٱزَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنَّ أَهْلُهَآ أَنَّهُمْ قَـٰدِرُونَ عَلَيْهَآ أَتَـٰهَآ أَمْرُنَا لَيْلاً أَوْ نَهَارًا فَجَعَلْنَـٰهَا حَصِيدًا كَأَن لَّمْ تَغْنَ بِٱلْأَمْسِۚ كَذَٲلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلْأَيَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ 24
وَٱللَّهُ يَدْعُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ دَارِ ٱلسَّلَـٰمِ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٲطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ 25
وَإِذَآwa-idhāAnd whenأَذَقْنَاadhaqnāWe let [the] mankind tasteٱلنَّاسَl-nāsaWe let [the] mankind tasteرَحْمَةًۭraḥmatanmercyمِّنۢminafterبَعْدِbaʿdiafterضَرَّآءَḍarrāaadversityمَسَّتْهُمْmassathumhas touched themإِذَاidhābeholdلَهُمlahumThey haveمَّكْرٌۭmakruna plotفِىٓfīagainstءَايَاتِنَا ۚāyātināOur VersesقُلِquliSayٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahأَسْرَعُasraʿu(is) more swiftمَكْرًا ۚmakran(in) planningإِنَّinnaIndeedرُسُلَنَاrusulanāOur Messengersيَكْتُبُونَyaktubūnawrite downمَاmāwhatتَمْكُرُونَtamkurūnayou plot
10:21
هُوَhuwaHeٱلَّذِىalladhī(is) the One Whoيُسَيِّرُكُمْyusayyirukumenables you to travelفِىfīinٱلْبَرِّl-barithe landوَٱلْبَحْرِ ۖwal-baḥriand the seaحَتَّىٰٓḥattāuntilإِذَاidhāwhenكُنتُمْkuntumyou areفِىfīinٱلْفُلْكِl-ful'kithe shipsوَجَرَيْنَwajaraynaand they sailبِهِمbihimwith themبِرِيحٍۢbirīḥinwith a windطَيِّبَةٍۢṭayyibatingoodوَفَرِحُوا۟wafariḥūand they rejoiceبِهَاbihāthereinجَآءَتْهَاjāathācomes to itرِيحٌrīḥuna windعَاصِفٌۭʿāṣifunstormyوَجَآءَهُمُwajāahumuand comes to themٱلْمَوْجُl-mawjuthe wavesمِنminfromكُلِّkullieveryمَكَانٍۢmakāninplaceوَظَنُّوٓا۟waẓannūand they assumeأَنَّهُمْannahumthat theyأُحِيطَuḥīṭaare surroundedبِهِمْ ۙbihimwith themدَعَوُا۟daʿawūThey callٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahمُخْلِصِينَmukh'liṣīnasincerelyلَهُlahuto Himٱلدِّينَl-dīna(in) the religionلَئِنْla-in(saying), "IfأَنجَيْتَنَاanjaytanāYou save usمِنْminfromهَـٰذِهِۦhādhihithisلَنَكُونَنَّlanakūnannasurely we will beمِنَminaamongٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَl-shākirīnathe thankful
10:22
فَلَمَّآfalammāBut whenأَنجَىٰهُمْanjāhumHe saved themإِذَاidhābeholdهُمْhumTheyيَبْغُونَyabghūnarebelفِىfīinٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earthبِغَيْرِbighayriwithoutٱلْحَقِّ ۗl-ḥaqi[the] rightيَـٰٓأَيُّهَاyāayyuhāO mankindٱلنَّاسُl-nāsuO mankindإِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyبَغْيُكُمْbaghyukumyour rebellionعَلَىٰٓʿalā(is) againstأَنفُسِكُم ۖanfusikumyourselvesمَّتَـٰعَmatāʿa(the) enjoymentٱلْحَيَوٰةِl-ḥayati(of) the lifeٱلدُّنْيَا ۖl-dun'yā(of) the worldثُمَّthummaThenإِلَيْنَاilaynāto Usمَرْجِعُكُمْmarjiʿukum(is) your returnفَنُنَبِّئُكُمfanunabbi-ukumand We will inform youبِمَاbimāof whatكُنتُمْkuntumyou used (to)تَعْمَلُونَtaʿmalūnado
10:23
إِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyمَثَلُmathalu(the) exampleٱلْحَيَوٰةِl-ḥayati(of) the lifeٱلدُّنْيَاl-dun'yā(of) the worldكَمَآءٍkamāin(is) like (the) waterأَنزَلْنَـٰهُanzalnāhuwhich We sent downمِنَminafromٱلسَّمَآءِl-samāithe skyفَٱخْتَلَطَfa-ikh'talaṭaso absorbsبِهِۦbihi[with] itنَبَاتُnabātu(the) plantsٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍi(of) the earthمِمَّاmimmāfrom whichيَأْكُلُyakulueatٱلنَّاسُl-nāsuthe menوَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمُwal-anʿāmuand the cattleحَتَّىٰٓḥattāuntilإِذَآidhāwhenأَخَذَتِakhadhatitakesٱلْأَرْضُl-arḍuthe earthزُخْرُفَهَاzukh'rufahāits adornmentوَٱزَّيَّنَتْwa-izzayyanatand is beautifiedوَظَنَّwaẓannaand thinkأَهْلُهَآahluhāits peopleأَنَّهُمْannahumthat theyقَـٰدِرُونَqādirūnahave the powerعَلَيْهَآʿalayhāover itأَتَىٰهَآatāhācomes (to) itأَمْرُنَاamrunāOur commandلَيْلًاlaylan(by) nightأَوْaworنَهَارًۭاnahāran(by) dayفَجَعَلْنَـٰهَاfajaʿalnāhāand We make itحَصِيدًۭاḥaṣīdana harvest clean-mownكَأَنka-anas ifلَّمْlamnotتَغْنَtaghnait had flourishedبِٱلْأَمْسِ ۚbil-amsiyesterdayكَذَٰلِكَkadhālikaThusنُفَصِّلُnufaṣṣiluWe explainٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِl-āyātithe Signsلِقَوْمٍۢliqawminfor a peopleيَتَفَكَّرُونَyatafakkarūnawho reflect
10:24
وَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allahيَدْعُوٓا۟yadʿūcallsإِلَىٰilātoدَارِdāri(the) Homeٱلسَّلَـٰمِl-salāmi(of) the Peaceوَيَهْدِىwayahdīand guidesمَنmanwhomيَشَآءُyashāuHe willsإِلَىٰilātoصِرَٰطٍۢṣirāṭin(the) straight pathمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢmus'taqīmin(the) straight path
10:25
