۞ يَـٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ خُذُواْ زِينَتَكُمْ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ وَكُلُواْ وَٱشْرَبُواْ وَلَا تُسْرِفُوٓاْۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ 31
قُلْ مَنْ حَرَّمَ زِينَةَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَخْرَجَ لِعِبَادِهِۦ وَٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِ مِنَ ٱلرِّزْقِۚ قُلْ هِىَ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٲةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا خَالِصَةً يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِۗ كَذَٲلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلْأَيَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ 32
قُلْ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّىَ ٱلْفَوَٲحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَٱلْإِثْمَ وَٱلْبَغْىَ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ وَأَن تُشْرِكُواْ بِٱللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِۦ سُلْطَـٰنًا وَأَن تَقُولُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ 33
وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةًۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ 34
يَـٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ إِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنكُمْ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَـٰتِىۙ فَمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ وَأَصْلَحَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ 35
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔـايَـٰتِنَا وَٱسْتَكْبَرُواْ عَنْهَآ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ 36
فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِـَٔـايَـٰتِهِۦٓۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يَنَالُهُمْ نَصِيبُهُم مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا يَتَوَفَّوْنَهُمْ قَالُوٓاْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۖ قَالُواْ ضَلُّواْ عَنَّا وَشَهِدُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ كَـٰفِرِينَ 37
۞ يَـٰبَنِىٓyābanīO Childrenءَادَمَādama(of) Adamخُذُوا۟khudhūTakeزِينَتَكُمْzīnatakumyour adornmentعِندَʿindaatكُلِّkullieveryمَسْجِدٍۢmasjidinmasjidوَكُلُوا۟wakulūand eatوَٱشْرَبُوا۟wa-ish'rabūand drinkوَلَاwalābut (do) notتُسْرِفُوٓا۟ ۚtus'rifūbe extravagantإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed, Heلَاlā(does) notيُحِبُّyuḥibbuloveٱلْمُسْرِفِينَl-mus'rifīnathe extravagant ones
7:31
قُلْqulSayمَنْmanWhoحَرَّمَḥarramahas forbiddenزِينَةَzīnata(the) adornmentٱللَّهِl-lahi(from) AllahٱلَّتِىٓallatīwhichأَخْرَجَakhrajaHe has brought forthلِعِبَادِهِۦliʿibādihifor His slavesوَٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِwal-ṭayibātiand the pure thingsمِنَminaofٱلرِّزْقِ ۚl-riz'qisustenanceقُلْqulSayهِىَhiyaTheyلِلَّذِينَlilladhīna(are) for those whoءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelieveفِىfīduringٱلْحَيَوٰةِl-ḥayatithe lifeٱلدُّنْيَاl-dun'yā(of) the worldخَالِصَةًۭkhāliṣatanexclusively (for them)يَوْمَyawma(on the) Dayٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗl-qiyāmati(of) ResurrectionكَذَٰلِكَkadhālikaThusنُفَصِّلُnufaṣṣiluWe explainٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِl-āyātithe Signsلِقَوْمٍۢliqawminfor (the) peopleيَعْلَمُونَyaʿlamūnawho know
7:32
قُلْqulSayإِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyحَرَّمَḥarrama(had) forbiddenرَبِّىَrabbiyamy Lordٱلْفَوَٰحِشَl-fawāḥishathe shameful deedsمَاmāwhatظَهَرَẓahara(is) apparentمِنْهَاmin'hāof itوَمَاwamāand whatبَطَنَbaṭanais concealedوَٱلْإِثْمَwal-ith'maand the sinوَٱلْبَغْىَwal-baghyaand the oppressionبِغَيْرِbighayriwithoutٱلْحَقِّl-ḥaqi[the] rightوَأَنwa-anand thatتُشْرِكُوا۟tush'rikūyou associate (others)بِٱللَّهِbil-lahiwith AllahمَاmāwhatلَمْlamnotيُنَزِّلْyunazzilHe (has) sent downبِهِۦbihiof itسُلْطَـٰنًۭاsul'ṭānanany authorityوَأَنwa-anand thatتَقُولُوا۟taqūlūyou sayعَلَىʿalāaboutٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahمَاmāwhatلَاlānotتَعْلَمُونَtaʿlamūnayou know
7:33
وَلِكُلِّwalikulliAnd for everyأُمَّةٍummatinnationأَجَلٌۭ ۖajalun(is a fixed) termفَإِذَاfa-idhāSo whenجَآءَjāacomesأَجَلُهُمْajaluhumtheir termلَاlā(they can) notيَسْتَأْخِرُونَyastakhirūnaseek to delayسَاعَةًۭ ۖsāʿatanan hourوَلَاwalāand notيَسْتَقْدِمُونَyastaqdimūnaseek to advance (it)
7:34
يَـٰبَنِىٓyābanīO Childrenءَادَمَādama(of) AdamإِمَّاimmāIfيَأْتِيَنَّكُمْyatiyannakumcome to youرُسُلٌۭrusulunMessengersمِّنكُمْminkumfrom youيَقُصُّونَyaquṣṣūnarelatingعَلَيْكُمْʿalaykumto youءَايَـٰتِى ۙāyātīMy Versesفَمَنِfamanithen whoeverٱتَّقَىٰittaqāfears Allahوَأَصْلَحَwa-aṣlaḥaand reformsفَلَاfalāthen noخَوْفٌkhawfunfearعَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimon themوَلَاwalāand notهُمْhumtheyيَحْزَنُونَyaḥzanūnawill grieve
7:35
وَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhīnaBut those whoكَذَّبُوا۟kadhabūdenyبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاbiāyātināOur Versesوَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟wa-is'takbarūand (are) arrogantعَنْهَآʿanhātowards themأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَulāikathoseأَصْحَـٰبُaṣḥābu(are the) companionsٱلنَّارِ ۖl-nāri(of) the Fireهُمْhumtheyفِيهَاfīhāin itخَـٰلِدُونَkhālidūnawill abide forever
7:36
فَمَنْfamanThen whoأَظْلَمُaẓlamu(is) more unjustمِمَّنِmimmanithan (one) whoٱفْتَرَىٰif'tarāinventedعَلَىʿalāagainstٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahكَذِبًاkadhibana lieأَوْaworكَذَّبَkadhabadeniesبِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦٓ ۚbiāyātihiHis Versesأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَulāikaThose يَنَالُهُمْyanāluhumwill reach themنَصِيبُهُمnaṣībuhumtheir portionمِّنَminafromٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ۖl-kitābithe Bookحَتَّىٰٓḥattāuntilإِذَاidhāwhenجَآءَتْهُمْjāathumcomes to themرُسُلُنَاrusulunāOur messengers (Angels)يَتَوَفَّوْنَهُمْyatawaffawnahum(to) take them in deathقَالُوٓا۟qālūthey sayأَيْنَaynaWhere areمَاmāthose (whom)كُنتُمْkuntumyou used toتَدْعُونَtadʿūnainvokeمِنminfromدُونِdūnibesidesٱللَّهِ ۖl-lahiAllahقَالُوا۟qālūThey sayضَلُّوا۟ḍallūThey strayedعَنَّاʿannāfrom usوَشَهِدُوا۟washahidūand they (will) testifyعَلَىٰٓʿalāagainstأَنفُسِهِمْanfusihimthemselvesأَنَّهُمْannahumthat theyكَانُوا۟kānūwereكَـٰفِرِينَkāfirīnadisbelievers
7:37
