مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَٲلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٲٓءِيلَ أَنَّهُۥ مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسَۢا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَآ أَحْيَا ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعًاۚ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم بَعْدَ ذَٲلِكَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ 32
إِنَّمَا جَزَٲٓؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا أَن يُقَتَّلُوٓاْ أَوْ يُصَلَّبُوٓاْ أَوْ تُقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُم مِّنْ خِلَـٰفٍ أَوْ يُنفَوْاْ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِۚ ذَٲلِكَ لَهُمْ خِزْىٌ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَاۖ وَلَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ 33
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُواْ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَقْدِرُواْ عَلَيْهِمْۖ فَٱعْلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ 34
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱبْتَغُوٓاْ إِلَيْهِ ٱلْوَسِيلَةَ وَجَـٰهِدُواْ فِى سَبِيلِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ 35
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لِيَفْتَدُواْ بِهِۦ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ مَا تُقُبِّلَ مِنْهُمْۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ 36
مِنْminFromأَجْلِajlitimeذَٰلِكَdhālikathatكَتَبْنَاkatabnāWe ordainedعَلَىٰʿalāonبَنِىٓbanī(the) Childrenإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَis'rāīla(of) Israelأَنَّهُۥannahuthat heمَنmanwhoقَتَلَqatalakillsنَفْسًۢاnafsana soulبِغَيْرِbighayriother thanنَفْسٍnafsin(for) a soulأَوْaworفَسَادٍۢfasādin(for) spreading corruptionفِىfīinٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earthفَكَأَنَّمَاfaka-annamāthen (it) is as ifقَتَلَqatalahe has killedٱلنَّاسَl-nāsamankindجَمِيعًۭاjamīʿanallوَمَنْwamanand whoeverأَحْيَاهَاaḥyāhāsaves itفَكَأَنَّمَآfaka-annamāthen (it) is as ifأَحْيَاaḥyāhe has savedٱلنَّاسَl-nāsamankindجَمِيعًۭا ۚjamīʿanallوَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd surelyجَآءَتْهُمْjāathumcame to themرُسُلُنَاrusulunāOur Messengersبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِbil-bayinātiwith clear Signsثُمَّthummayetإِنَّinnaindeedكَثِيرًۭاkathīranmanyمِّنْهُمmin'humof themبَعْدَbaʿdaafterذَٰلِكَdhālikathatفِىfīinٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earthلَمُسْرِفُونَlamus'rifūna(are) surely those who commit excesses
5:32
إِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyجَزَٰٓؤُا۟jazāu(the) recompenseٱلَّذِينَalladhīna(for) those whoيُحَارِبُونَyuḥāribūnawage warٱللَّهَl-laha(against) Allahوَرَسُولَهُۥwarasūlahuand His Messengerوَيَسْعَوْنَwayasʿawnaand striveفِىfīinٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earthفَسَادًاfasādanspreading corruptionأَنan(is) thatيُقَتَّلُوٓا۟yuqattalūthey be killedأَوْaworيُصَلَّبُوٓا۟yuṣallabūthey be crucifiedأَوْaworتُقَطَّعَtuqaṭṭaʿabe cut offأَيْدِيهِمْaydīhimtheir handsوَأَرْجُلُهُمwa-arjuluhumand their feetمِّنْminofخِلَـٰفٍkhilāfinopposite sidesأَوْaworيُنفَوْا۟yunfawthey be exiledمِنَminafromٱلْأَرْضِ ۚl-arḍithe landذَٰلِكَdhālikaThatلَهُمْlahum(is) for themخِزْىٌۭkhiz'yundisgraceفِىfīinٱلدُّنْيَا ۖl-dun'yāthe worldوَلَهُمْwalahumand for themفِىfīinٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِl-ākhiratithe Hereafterعَذَابٌʿadhābun(is) a punishmentعَظِيمٌʿaẓīmungreat
5:33
إِلَّاillāExceptٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoتَابُوا۟tābūrepentمِنminfromقَبْلِqablibeforeأَنanthatتَقْدِرُوا۟taqdirūyou overpowerعَلَيْهِمْ ۖʿalayhim[over] themفَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟fa-iʿ'lamūthen knowأَنَّannathatٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahغَفُورٌۭghafūrun(is) Oft-ForgivingرَّحِيمٌۭraḥīmunMost Merciful
5:34
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاyāayyuhāO youٱلَّذِينَalladhīnawhoءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelieveٱتَّقُوا۟ittaqūFearٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahوَٱبْتَغُوٓا۟wa-ib'taghūand seekإِلَيْهِilayhitowards Himٱلْوَسِيلَةَl-wasīlatathe meansوَجَـٰهِدُوا۟wajāhidūand strive hardفِىfīinسَبِيلِهِۦsabīlihiHis wayلَعَلَّكُمْlaʿallakumso that you mayتُفْلِحُونَtuf'liḥūnasucceed
5:35
إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoكَفَرُوا۟kafarūdisbelieveلَوْlawifأَنَّannathatلَهُمlahumfor themمَّاmā(is) whatفِىfī(is) inٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earthجَمِيعًۭاjamīʿanallوَمِثْلَهُۥwamith'lahuand the like of itمَعَهُۥmaʿahuwith itلِيَفْتَدُوا۟liyaftadūto ransom themselvesبِهِۦbihiwith itمِنْminfromعَذَابِʿadhābi(the) punishmentيَوْمِyawmi(of the) Dayٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِl-qiyāmati(of) the Resurrectionمَاmānotتُقُبِّلَtuqubbilawill be acceptedمِنْهُمْ ۖmin'humfrom themوَلَهُمْwalahumand for themعَذَابٌʿadhābun(is) a punishmentأَلِيمٌۭalīmunpainful
