أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ نَصِيبًا مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَىٰ كِتَـٰبِ ٱللَّهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّىٰ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ 23
ذَٲلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ لَن تَمَسَّنَا ٱلنَّارُ إِلَّآ أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَٲتٍۖ وَغَرَّهُمْ فِى دِينِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ 24
فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جَمَعْنَـٰهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ 25
قُلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ مَـٰلِكَ ٱلْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِى ٱلْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتَنزِعُ ٱلْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَآءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَآءُۖ بِيَدِكَ ٱلْخَيْرُۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 26
تُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِۖ وَتُخْرِجُ ٱلْحَىَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَيِّتَ مِنَ ٱلْحَىِّۖ وَتَرْزُقُ مَن تَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ 27
لَّا يَتَّخِذِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَۖ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٲلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ فِى شَىْءٍ إِلَّآ أَن تَتَّقُواْ مِنْهُمْ تُقَـٰةًۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسَهُۥۗ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ 28
قُلْ إِن تُخْفُواْ مَا فِى صُدُورِكُمْ أَوْ تُبْدُوهُ يَعْلَمْهُ ٱللَّهُۗ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 29
أَلَمْalamHave notتَرَtarayou seenإِلَىilā[to]ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoأُوتُوا۟ūtūwere givenنَصِيبًۭاnaṣībana portionمِّنَminaofٱلْكِتَـٰبِl-kitābithe Scriptureيُدْعَوْنَyud'ʿawnaThey are invitedإِلَىٰilātoكِتَـٰبِkitābi(the) Bookٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahلِيَحْكُمَliyaḥkumathat (it should) arbitrateبَيْنَهُمْbaynahumbetween themثُمَّthummathenيَتَوَلَّىٰyatawallāturns awayفَرِيقٌۭfarīquna partyمِّنْهُمْmin'humof themوَهُمwahumand they (are)مُّعْرِضُونَmuʿ'riḍūnathose who are averse
3:23
ذَٰلِكَdhālikaThatبِأَنَّهُمْbi-annahum(is) because theyقَالُوا۟qālūsayلَنlanNeverتَمَسَّنَاtamassanāwill touch usٱلنَّارُl-nāruthe Fireإِلَّآillāexceptأَيَّامًۭاayyāman(for) daysمَّعْدُودَٰتٍۢ ۖmaʿdūdātinnumberedوَغَرَّهُمْwagharrahumAnd deceived themفِىfīinدِينِهِمdīnihimtheir religionمَّاmāwhatكَانُوا۟kānūthey wereيَفْتَرُونَyaftarūnainventing
3:24
فَكَيْفَfakayfaThen how (will it be)إِذَاidhāwhenجَمَعْنَـٰهُمْjamaʿnāhumWe will gather themلِيَوْمٍۢliyawminon a Day لَّاlānoرَيْبَraybadoubtفِيهِfīhiin itوَوُفِّيَتْwawuffiyatAnd will be paid in fullكُلُّkullueveryنَفْسٍۢnafsinsoulمَّاmāwhatكَسَبَتْkasabatit earnedوَهُمْwahumand theyلَاlā(will) notيُظْلَمُونَyuẓ'lamūnabe wronged
3:25
قُلِquliSayٱللَّهُمَّl-lahumaO AllahمَـٰلِكَmālikaOwnerٱلْمُلْكِl-mul'ki(of) the Dominionتُؤْتِىtu'tīYou giveٱلْمُلْكَl-mul'kathe dominionمَنman(to) whomتَشَآءُtashāuYou willوَتَنزِعُwatanziʿuand You take awayٱلْمُلْكَl-mul'kathe dominionمِمَّنmimmanfrom whomتَشَآءُtashāuYou willوَتُعِزُّwatuʿizzuand You honorمَنmanwhomتَشَآءُtashāuYou willوَتُذِلُّwatudhilluand You humiliateمَنmanwhomتَشَآءُ ۖtashāuYou willبِيَدِكَbiyadikaIn Your handٱلْخَيْرُ ۖl-khayru(is all) the goodإِنَّكَinnakaIndeed, Youعَلَىٰʿalā(are) onكُلِّkullieveryشَىْءٍۢshayinthingقَدِيرٌۭqadīrunAll-Powerful
3:26
تُولِجُtūlijuYou cause to enterٱلَّيْلَal-laylathe nightفِىfīinٱلنَّهَارِl-nahārithe dayوَتُولِجُwatūlijuand You cause to enterٱلنَّهَارَl-nahārathe dayفِىfīinٱلَّيْلِ ۖal-laylithe nightوَتُخْرِجُwatukh'rijuand You bring forthٱلْحَىَّl-ḥayathe livingمِنَminafromٱلْمَيِّتِl-mayitithe deadوَتُخْرِجُwatukh'rijuand You bring forthٱلْمَيِّتَl-mayitathe deadمِنَminafromٱلْحَىِّ ۖl-ḥayithe livingوَتَرْزُقُwatarzuquand You give provisionمَنman(to) whomتَشَآءُtashāuYou willبِغَيْرِbighayriwithoutحِسَابٍۢḥisābinmeasure
3:27
لَّاlā(Let) notيَتَّخِذِyattakhidhitakeٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَl-mu'minūnathe believersٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَl-kāfirīnathe disbelieversأَوْلِيَآءَawliyāa(as) alliesمِنminfromدُونِdūniinstead ofٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۖl-mu'minīnathe believersوَمَنwamanAnd whoeverيَفْعَلْyafʿaldoesذَٰلِكَdhālikathatفَلَيْسَfalaysathen not he (has)مِنَminafromٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahفِىfīinشَىْءٍshayinanythingإِلَّآillāexceptأَنanthatتَتَّقُوا۟tattaqūyou fearمِنْهُمْmin'humfrom themتُقَىٰةًۭ ۗtuqātan(as) a precautionوَيُحَذِّرُكُمُwayuḥadhirukumuAnd warns youٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahنَفْسَهُۥ ۗnafsahu(of) Himselfوَإِلَىwa-ilāand toٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahٱلْمَصِيرُl-maṣīru(is) the final return
3:28
قُلْqulSayإِنinWhetherتُخْفُوا۟tukh'fūyou concealمَاmāwhatفِىfī(is) inصُدُورِكُمْṣudūrikumyour breastsأَوْaworتُبْدُوهُtub'dūhuyou disclose it يَعْلَمْهُyaʿlamhuknows itٱللَّهُ ۗl-lahuAllahوَيَعْلَمُwayaʿlamuAnd He knowsمَاmāwhatفِىfī(is) inٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwātithe heavensوَمَاwamāand whatفِىfī(is) inٱلْأَرْضِ ۗl-arḍithe earthوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allahعَلَىٰʿalā(is) onكُلِّkullieveryشَىْءٍۢshayinthingقَدِيرٌۭqadīrunAll-Powerful
3:29
