وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِمُ ٱلْمَثُلَـٰتُۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ لِّلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلْمِهِمْۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ 6
وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦٓۗ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرٌۖ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ 7
ٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ أُنثَىٰ وَمَا تَغِيضُ ٱلْأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُۖ وَكُلُّ شَىْءٍ عِندَهُۥ بِمِقْدَارٍ 8
عَـٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ٱلْكَبِيرُ ٱلْمُتَعَالِ 9
سَوَآءٌ مِّنكُم مَّنْ أَسَرَّ ٱلْقَوْلَ وَمَن جَهَرَ بِهِۦ وَمَنْ هُوَ مُسْتَخْفِۭ بِٱلَّيْلِ وَسَارِبُۢ بِٱلنَّهَارِ 10
لَهُۥ مُعَقِّبَـٰتٌ مِّنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ يَحْفَظُونَهُۥ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْۗ وَإِذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوٓءًا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥۚ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَالٍ 11
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُرِيكُمُ ٱلْبَرْقَ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَيُنشِئُ ٱلسَّحَابَ ٱلثِّقَالَ 12
وَيُسَبِّحُ ٱلرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِۦ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِۦ وَيُرْسِلُ ٱلصَّوَٲعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَن يَشَآءُ وَهُمْ يُجَـٰدِلُونَ فِى ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْمِحَالِ 13
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَwayastaʿjilūnakaAnd they ask you to hastenبِٱلسَّيِّئَةِbil-sayi-atithe evilقَبْلَqablabeforeٱلْحَسَنَةِl-ḥasanatithe goodوَقَدْwaqadand verilyخَلَتْkhalathas occurredمِنminfromقَبْلِهِمُqablihimubefore themٱلْمَثُلَـٰتُ ۗl-mathulātu[the] similar punishmentsوَإِنَّwa-innaAnd indeedرَبَّكَrabbakayour Lordلَذُوladhū(is) fullمَغْفِرَةٍۢmaghfiratin(of) forgivenessلِّلنَّاسِlilnnāsifor mankindعَلَىٰʿalāforظُلْمِهِمْ ۖẓul'mihimtheir wrongdoingوَإِنَّwa-innaand indeedرَبَّكَrabbakayour Lordلَشَدِيدُlashadīdu(is) severeٱلْعِقَابِl-ʿiqābi(in) the penalty
13:6
وَيَقُولُwayaqūluAnd sayٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoكَفَرُوا۟kafarūdisbelievedلَوْلَآlawlāWhy notأُنزِلَunzilahas been sent downعَلَيْهِʿalayhito himءَايَةٌۭāyatuna signمِّنminfromرَّبِّهِۦٓ ۗrabbihihis LordإِنَّمَآinnamāOnlyأَنتَantayouمُنذِرٌۭ ۖmundhirun(are) a warnerوَلِكُلِّwalikulliand for everyقَوْمٍqawminpeopleهَادٍhādin(is) a guide
13:7
ٱللَّهُal-lahuAllahيَعْلَمُyaʿlamuknowsمَاmāwhatتَحْمِلُtaḥmilucarriesكُلُّkullueveryأُنثَىٰunthāfemaleوَمَاwamāand whatتَغِيضُtaghīḍufall shortٱلْأَرْحَامُl-arḥāmuthe wombوَمَاwamāand whatتَزْدَادُ ۖtazdāduthey exceedوَكُلُّwakulluAnd everyشَىْءٍshayinthingعِندَهُۥʿindahuwith Himبِمِقْدَارٍbimiq'dārin(is) in due proportion
13:8
عَـٰلِمُʿālimuKnowerٱلْغَيْبِl-ghaybi(of) the unseenوَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِwal-shahādatiand the witnessedٱلْكَبِيرُl-kabīruthe Most Greatٱلْمُتَعَالِl-mutaʿālithe Most High
13:9
سَوَآءٌۭsawāon(It is) same (to Him)مِّنكُمminkum[of you]مَّنْman(one) whoأَسَرَّasarraconcealsٱلْقَوْلَl-qawlathe speechوَمَنwamanor (one) whoجَهَرَjaharapublicizesبِهِۦbihiitوَمَنْwamanand (one) whoهُوَhuwa[he]مُسْتَخْفٍۭmus'takhfin(is) hiddenبِٱلَّيْلِbi-al-layliby nightوَسَارِبٌۢwasāribunor goes freelyبِٱلنَّهَارِbil-nahāriby day
13:10
لَهُۥlahuFor himمُعَقِّبَـٰتٌۭmuʿaqqibātun(are) successive (Angels)مِّنۢminfromبَيْنِbayni(before)يَدَيْهِyadayhi(him)وَمِنْwaminand fromخَلْفِهِۦkhalfihiand behind himيَحْفَظُونَهُۥyaḥfaẓūnahuwho guard himمِنْminbyأَمْرِamri(the) commandٱللَّهِ ۗl-lahi(of) AllahإِنَّinnaIndeedٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahلَاlā(does) notيُغَيِّرُyughayyiruchangeمَاmā(the condition)بِقَوْمٍbiqawminof a peopleحَتَّىٰḥattāuntilيُغَيِّرُوا۟yughayyirūthey changeمَاmāwhatبِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗbi-anfusihim(is) in themselvesوَإِذَآwa-idhāAnd whenأَرَادَarādawillsٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahبِقَوْمٍۢbiqawminfor a peopleسُوٓءًۭاsūanmisfortuneفَلَاfalāthen (there is) noمَرَدَّmaraddaturning awayلَهُۥ ۚlahuof itوَمَاwamāand notلَهُمlahumfor themمِّنminfromدُونِهِۦdūnihibesides Himمِنminanyوَالٍwālinprotector
13:11
هُوَhuwaHeٱلَّذِىalladhī(is) the One Whoيُرِيكُمُyurīkumushows youٱلْبَرْقَl-barqathe lightningخَوْفًۭاkhawfana fearوَطَمَعًۭاwaṭamaʿanand a hopeوَيُنشِئُwayunshi-uand brings upٱلسَّحَابَl-saḥābathe cloudsٱلثِّقَالَl-thiqālathe heavy
13:12
وَيُسَبِّحُwayusabbiḥuAnd glorifiesٱلرَّعْدُl-raʿduthe thunderبِحَمْدِهِۦbiḥamdihiwith his praise وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُwal-malāikatuand the Angelsمِنْminforخِيفَتِهِۦkhīfatihifear of Himوَيُرْسِلُwayur'siluAnd He sendsٱلصَّوَٰعِقَl-ṣawāʿiqathe thunderboltsفَيُصِيبُfayuṣībuand strikesبِهَاbihāwith itمَنmanwhomيَشَآءُyashāuHe willsوَهُمْwahumyet theyيُجَـٰدِلُونَyujādilūnadisputeفِىfīaboutٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahوَهُوَwahuwaAnd Heشَدِيدُshadīdu(is) Mightyٱلْمِحَالِl-miḥāli(in) Strength
13:13
