[تهذيب الكمال #7432]
رَوَى عَن: عبد الله بن عمر بن الخطاب (س) ، ومعاوية بن أبي سفيان (د س) ، وقيل: عن أخيه، عن معاوية (س) . واسم أخيه حمان وقيل: أبوحمان.
رَوَى عَنه: بيهس بن فهدان (س) ، وعبيد مولاه، وقتادة (د س) ، ومطر الوراق (س) ، ويحيى بن أبي كثير (س) .
ذكره خليفة بن خياط في الطبقة الثانية من قراء أهل البصرة، وقال: مات بعد المئة.
وذكره ابن حبان في كتاب "الثقات" (١) .
روى له أبو داود، والنسائي.
