رَوَى عَن: عبد الله بن لهيعة، وعبد الله بن وهب (د س) ، وعبد الرحمن بن أبي الزناد، والليث بن سعد، ومالك بن أنس، ومحمد بن إدريس الشافعي.
رَوَى عَنه: أبو جعفر أحمد بن نباتة بن نافع اليحصبي، والحارث بن مسكين (د س) وهو من أقرانه، وعبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن عبد الحكم، وأخوه محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد الحكم، ويحيى بن عبد الله بن بكير، وهو من أقرانه، وابنه أبو سعيد يزيد
