رَوَى عَن: أبيه (د ق) ، عن أبي هريرة.
رَوَى عَنه: محمد بن موسى الفطري (د ق) ، وأبو عقيل يحيى بن المتوكل.
قال البخاري (٢) : لا يعرف لسلمة سماع من أبي هريرة ولا ليعقوب من أبيه (٣) .
روى له أبو داود، وابن ماجه. وقد كتبنا حديثه في ترجمة أبيه سلمة.
