رَوَى عَن: تدوم الحميري، وزياد بن نعيم الحضرمي، وسلمان أبي سلمة القتباني، وشفي بن ماتع الأصبحي، وعبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص، وعبد الرحمن بن غابر الهمداني، وأبي ثور الفهمي، وأبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن، وأبي عبد الرحمن الحبلي (د ت ق) ، وأبي عشانة المعافري.
رَوَى عَنه: الأصبغ العريفي، وعبد الله بن لهيعة (د ت ق) ، وعمرو بن الحارث (٢) ، والليث بن سعد.
قال أبو حاتم (٣) : لا بأس به.
وذكره ابن حبان في كتاب "الثقات" (٤)
