رَوَى عَن: علي بن أبي طالب، وحفصة (س) ، وعائشة (س) زوجي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وعن أمه (د س) ، وقيل: عن امرأته (د س) ، عن بعض أزواج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم.
رَوَى عَنه: إسحاق بن سويد العدوي (س) على خلاف فيه، وثابت بن سعيد الأنصاري، والحر بن الصباح (د س) ، والحسن بن عبيد الله النخعي (د س) ، وعدي بن ثابت الأنصاري، وأبو إسحاق السبيعي.
ذكره ابن حبان في كتاب "الثقات" (٢) .
روى له أبو داود، والنسائي.
