رَوَى عَن: سويد بن غفلة (د س) ، وعن علي بن أبي طالب (قد) وشهد معه قتل الخوارج بالنهروان.
رَوَى عَنه: سلمة بن كهيل، وعطاء بن السائب (قد) ،
وهلال بن خباب (د س) .
ذكره ابن حبان في كتاب "الثقات" (٥) .
روى له أبو داود، والنسائي.
أخبرنا أبو إسحاق ابن الدرجي، قال: أنبأنا أبو جعفر
