رَوَى عَن: أبي قرصافة جندرة بن خيشنة، وسليم بن عامر الخبائري (د ت س) ، وعبد الله بن مرة الزرقي الأنصاري (س) ، ومسلمة بن عبد الملك، ومعاذ بن جبل - مرسل، ومعاوية بن أبي سفيان، وأبي شيبة المهري.
رَوَى عَنه: زيد بن أبي أنيسة، وشعبة بن الحجاج (د ت س) - لقيه بواسط -.
قال أبو الحسن بن سميع في الطبقة الرابعة: أبو الفيض حمصي لقيه شعبة بواسط.
