رَوَى عَن: ثابت البناني، وسعيد بن عبيد الهنائي (ت) .
رَوَى عَنه: ابنه الحسن بن كثير بن فائد، وأبو عاصم النبيل (ت) .
ذكره ابن حبان في كتاب "الثقات (٣) .
روى له الترمذي حديث بكر بن عبد الله المزني عن أنس ابن مالك، قال الله تعالى: "يا ابن آدم إنك ما دعوتني ورجوتني غفرت لك.
