رَوَى عَنه: إسماعيل بن عبيد الله بن أبي المهاجر (سي) ، وعبادة بن نسي الكندي (د) ، وعبد الله بن عامر اليحصبي المقرئ، وعراك بن مالك، وعمر بن عبد العزيز، ويحيى بن يحيى الغساني، وأبو عبيد حاجب سليمان بن عبد الملك.
قال أبو الحسن بن سميع في الطبقة الثانية من التابعين: قيس بن الحارث المذحجي قاضي عمر بن عبد العزيز بالأردن.
