[تهذيب الكمال #4697]
رَوَى عَن: سفيان بن عيينة (ق) ، وعبد الرزاق بن همام، ومعن بن عيسى، والوليد بن مسلم (ق) .
رَوَى عَنه: ابن ماجه، وأحمد بن أصرم المزني من ولد عبد الله بن مغفل، وجعفر بن درستوريه الفارسي، والحسن بن علي ابن نعيم، والحسين بن إدريس الأنصاري، وعبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، ومحمد بن إسحاق الثقفي السراج، ومحمد بن جرير الطبري، ومحمد بن هارون بن المجدر.
ذكره ابن حبان في كتاب (الثقات) (١) .
وقال الدارقطني: هو مستملي سفيان بن عيينة، روى عن ابن عيينة حديثا كثيرا.
