[تهذيب الكمال #3702]
رَوَى عَن: أبيه أسباط بن محمد القرشي (ر ت ق) ، وسفيان بن عقبة السوائي، وعبد الله بن إدريس (ت) ، وعبيد بن سعيد الأموي، ويحيى بن يمان.
رَوَى عَنه: البخاري في كتاب"القراءة خلف الإمام"والترمذي، وابن ماجه، وإبراهيم بن محمد بن الحسن بن متويه، وأبو حاتم محمد بن إدريس الرازي، ومحمد بن عبد الله بن سليمان الحضرمي، ومحمد بن علي الحكيم الترمذي، ومحمد بن يحيى بن مندة الأصبهاني.
قال عبد الرحمن (٤) بن أبي حاتم: سمع منه أبي بمكة وسئل عنه فقال: شيخ.
وذكره ابن حبان في كتاب "الثقات" (٥) .
