رَوَى عَن: إبراهيم بن عبيد. قاضي مرو، وشقير الكوفي مولى سعد بن أبي وقاص، وعبد الله بن بريدة (د ت س) وأبي مجلز لاحق ابن حميد.
رَوَى عَنه: زيد بن الحباب (د ت س) ، وعبدان بن عثمان المروزي، وعثمان بن ناجية (ت) ، وعيسى بن موسى غنجار، والفضل بن موسى السيناني، ومحمد بن الفضل بن عطية، ومعاذ بن خالد بن شقيق، والنضر بن المنذر بن ثعلبة، وأبو تميلة يحيى بن واضح (ت) .
قال أبو حاتم (٢) : يكتب حديثه، ولا يحتج به.
