رَوَى عَنه: ابنه شتير بن شكل (بخ د ت س) ولم يرو عنه غيره.
روى له البخاري في "الأدب"وأبو داود، والترمذي، والنسائي حديثا واحدا قد كتبناه في ترجمة سعد بن أوس العبسي.
