[تهذيب الكمال #2576]
رَوَى عَن: محمد بن سيرين، وأبي المتوكل الناجي (د ت) .
رَوَى عَنه: سعيد بن أبي عروبة (ت) ، وعبد العزيز بن المختار، ومحمد بن عبد الله الأنصاري، ومرجى بن رجاء اليشكري، ووهيب بن خالد (د) ، ويزيد بن زريع.
قال إسحاق بن منصور (٣) ، عن يحيى بن معين: ثقة.
وقال محمد بن سعد (٤) : كان نازلا في بني ناجية، لا ندري كان من أنفسهم أو مولى لهم، وكانت عنده أحاديث.
وذكره ابن حبان في كتاب "الثقات" (٥) .
روى له أبو داود، والترمذي حديثا واحدا، وقد وقع لنا بعلو عنه.
