[تهذيب الكمال #2309]
رَوَى عَن: السائب بن يزيد (بخ) - على خلاف فيه، وعبد الله بن عمر بن الخطاب، وأبيه عبد الرحمن بن جحش، وعمر بن عبد العزيز، ويزيد بن عبد الله بن قسيط، وأبي بكر بن محمد بن عمرو بن حزم (بخ) - على خلاف فيه، وعمرة بنت عبد الرحمن.
رَوَى عَنه: معمر بن راشد (بخ) .
قال النسائي: ليس به بأس.
وذكره ابن حبان في كتاب "الثقات" (٣) .
روى له البخاري في "الأدب.
