[تهذيب الكمال #2050]
رَوَى عَن: عبادة بن الصامت، وأخيه عثمان بن أبي سودة (ق) ، وأبي عمران الأنصاري، وأبي مريم الشامي، وأبي هريرة، وميمونة خادم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم (د) والصحيح عن أخيه عثمان (ق) ، عنها.
رَوَى عَنه: ثور بن يزيد (ق) ، وسعيد بن عبد العزيز (د) ، وصدقة بن يزيد، وعبد الرحمن بن ثابت بن ثوبان، وعثمان بن عطاء الخراساني، ومعاوية بن صالح.
قال أبو حاتم (٢) : لا أرى سمع من عبادة بن الصامت.
وذكره ابن حبان في كتاب "الثقات" وقال (٣) : كنيته أبو نصر، أخو عثمان بن أبي سودة، أمهما مولاة لعبادة بن الصامت، وأبوهما مولى لعبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص (٤) .
