[تهذيب الكمال #1714]
رَوَى عَن: الحسن البصري، ومعاوية بن قرة المزني (م) ، وأبي نضرة العبدي (م ت س) .
رَوَى عَنه: شعبة بن الحجاج (م ت س) وعزرة بن ثابت.
قال شعبة (٢) : حدثني خليد بن جعفر، وكان من أصدق الناس وأشده اتقاء.
وقال علي ابن المديني (٣) : سألت يحيى بن سعيد عنه، فقال: لم أره، ولكن بلغني أنه لا بأس به.
