رَوَى عَن: الحسن البصري (د) ، وسالم أبي الغيث (ع) مولى عبد الله بن مطيع، وسعيد المقبري، وأبي الزناد عبد الله بن ذكوان (س) ، وعبد الله بن عباس، ولم يدركه (٣) ، وعكرمة مولى ابن عباس (د ت س) ، وعيسى بن معمر، ومحمد بن إبراهيم التيمي، وخاله موسى بن ميسرة، ونعيم المجمر.
رَوَى عَنه: إسماعيل بن أبي فديك، والد محمد بن إسماعيل، وسليمان بن بلال (خ م د س) ، وعبد الله بن جعفر بن نجيح (ت) والد علي ابن المديني، وعبد الله بن سعيد بن أبي هند
