رَوَى عَن: بشير (٢) بن الخصاصية (بخ دس ق) وأبي هريرة (ع) .
رَوَى عَنه: بحر بن سعيد السدوسي البصري، وبركة أبو الوليد المجاشعي (ق) وخالد بن سمير (بخ د س ق) . وعبد الملك بن عبيد، (س) ، والنضر بن أنس بن مالك (ع) ، وأبو مجلز لاحق بن حميد (د ت س) ويحيى بن سعيد الأنصاري (س) .
ذكره خليفة بن خياط في الطبقة الثانية من قراء أهل البصرة (٣) .
