فقيهٌ مالكيٌّ، تولَّى التدريس بالمسجد الحرام والمدرسة الصولتية، وعمل بالمحاكِم الشرعيَّة، ثم عضوًا في هيئة التمييز، ثم وكيلاً لرئيس محكمة مكَّة، ثم عضوًا في مجلس الشورى، ثم عاد للقضاء.
ولد بمكَّة سنة 1317هـ، وتوفي بمكة عام 1399هـ.

من مؤلفاته:
«الإرشاد بذكر بعض ما لي مِن الإجازة والإسناد»، و«إسعاف أهل الإسلام بوظائفِ الحج»، و«إسعاف أهل الإيمان بوظائف رمضان»، و«تقريرات على البيقونية»، و«الحدود البهية في القواعد المنطقية».
