s a renowned reciter of the Quran hailing from Lebanon. He was born in Qalamoun, Lebanon in 1968.

At age 17, Sheikh Ziad memorized the Quran from cover to cover. But this didn’t end here. He furthered his love for the book of Allah and took up studying the Quranic readings in Madinah. This was between 1988 to 1992.

Amongst his positions, he taught the Quranic readings and Tajweed between 1995 to 2002 in Lebanon. He then founded a department for Quranic readings at Al-Jinan University in 2002. He has also served as a judge for Quranic competitions both in Lebanon and overseas.

Currently, he serves as the Sheikh of the readers of Qalamoun, Koura and Batroun.
