Sheikh Mohammed Zaki Bin Omar Daghistani is a native of Saudi Arabia, brought up in Makkah and has been blessed with a unique and mesmerizing psalmody along with being an amazing scholar.

A major setback in the form of a visual handicap at the age of one made way for an immense show of determination and hard work to successfully manage the Hifdh of Qur’an and the nuances of Tajweed.

Sheikh Ahmad Al Hijazi even certified him according to Hafs A’n Assem recitation method which paved way for teaching as a professor designated by the ministry of Ma’arif of Saudi Arabia in a  Quranic School.

After battling Parkinson’s disease for a long time, Shaykh Zaki took his last breath in July 2004 and was buried in the Mualla cemetery in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
