in 1974, in Asmara, Eritrea, Tawfiq Bin Said Bin Ibrahim Al-Sayegh is a Qur’an reciter par excellence who is not short of any recognition and adulation.

A student of Scientific Institute of Jeddah, Tawfiq As Sayegh sought to expand the horizon of his knowledge and this led him to enroll himself into the Imam Mohamed Bin Saud University and the Umm al Qura University of Makkah.

After getting mentored by noted greats in the same discipline , namely, Mohammed Saleh Aâtimine, Salih Soltan (Fiqh), Abd El Hamid Abouzid (Usool al-Fiqh), Mohammed Sadiki El Bourzzi (Usool al-Fiqh), Sheikh Mohammed Habib Rahman, Mohammed Ibrahim Chata , Yahya Abdel Razzaq Outani  among a few, he had gained prominence as a prolific reciter whose perfection knew no bounds.
