Mahmood Al-Tabib was born in Libya into a small, conservative family where he was the youngest of four brothers. After his initial Quranic memorization and studies, he taught the Holy Quran at the Al Anqoudi mosque in Tripoli, the Libyan capital. He later moved to the United Arab Emirates and settled in Sharjah, where he currently works as an Imam and preacher in the Malik Bin Aws Mosque.
