He primarily recites in the Hafs ‘an Asim narration. Sheikh Faisal Al-Halabi comes from a conservative family. He specialized in Shari’a studies, graduating with excellence from the Shari’a branch in the faculty of Shari’a and Islamic studies at Al Ahsae University, and completing further studies at the Islamic University of Imam Muhammad Bin Saud in Riyadh. He obtained both his Master’s degree in 1999 and his Doctorate degree in Osoul Al Fiqh (Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence), learning under the supervision of prominent sheikhs.
