o spelled Abdul‑Mohsin Al‑Askar or Abdulmuhsin Al‑Askar, is a Saudi Quran reciter, scholar, and imam born in Riyadh in 1966 (1386 AH). He earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees from Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, specializing in Arabic language, and currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Rhetoric.

He is well known for his murattal recitation in the Hafs ‘an ‘Asim riwāyah, with a vocal style characterized by calm pacing, precise Tajwīd, and clear articulation—qualities that earned him recognition on national radio and in Qur’an archives. In addition to his academic career, he leads prayers and delivers sermons at Princess Noura Mosque in Riyadh, combining religious scholarship with community engagement.
