<span style="font-weight: 400">Having accomplished the art of Quran Hifdh at the tender age of 9, Sheikh Laayoune El Kouchi was a revelation of sorts with the silken texture of his voice and his soulful psalmodies.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400">At present, Sheikh Laayoun El Kouchi is designated as an Imam at the mosque of Al Andalus in Anansi,  Morocco.</span>
