أبو محمد سهل بن عبد الله بن يونس بن رفيع التُستري ولد في تُسْتُر قرب شيراز في بلاد خوزستان. كان أحد أئمة الصوفية في عصره. له أقوال في تفسير بعض الآيات جمعها أبو بكر محمد البلدي في كتاب ونسبها إليه وعرف هذا الكتاب بتفسير التستري. توفي في البصرة.
