حيدر بن سليمان بن داود الحلي الحسيني: شاعر أهل البيت في العراق. مولده ووفاته في الحلة، ودفن في النجف. مات أبوه وهو طفل فنشأ في حجر عمه مهدي بن داود. شعره حسن، ترفع به عن المدح والاستجداء، وكان موصوفا بالسخاء. له ديوان سماه (الدر اليتيم - ط) وكتاب (العقد المفصل في قبيلة المجد المؤثل - ط) جزآن، و (الأشجان في مراثي خير إنسان - خ) و (دمية القصر في شعراء العصر - خ) وأشهر شعره حولياته في رثاء الحسين.
